Fruit de la collaboration entre deux artistes majeurs de la scène internationale, le projet SulaMadiana est tout simplement hors normes. Réalisé après de longs mois de travail, entre Brooklyn et Oslo, Mino Cinelu, multi-instrumentiste et Nils Petter Molvær, trompettiste, nous transportent dans un univers empreint de fraîcheur, de générosité et d’innovation. Le nom fait écho aux origines des deux artistes, l'île de Sula, au Nord de la Norvège d'où Nils est originaire et Madiana (Martinique) évoquant les origines paternelles de Mino.

Nous avons, pour célébrer la sortie de l'album, rêvé un mélange retraçant la rencontre des deux artistes en Turquie avec une base de thé issue de la Province de Rize, rehaussée par des fruits légèrement acidulés que l'on peut retrouver en Norvège, le tout enrobé par une magnifique vanille de la Martinique.

Un mélange chaleureux et unique, véritable invitation à l'univers de Mino & Nils.

Born out of a collaboration between two major international artists, the SulaMadiana project is quite simply extraordinary. After long months of hard work, between Brooklyn and Oslo, Mino Cinelu, multi-instrumentalist, and Nils Petter Molvær, trumpet player, transport us to a universe full of generosity and innovation. The name of the album refers to the origins of the two artists, the island of Sula, in the west of Norway where Nils is from, and Madiana (Martinique), where Mino’s father is from.

To celebrate the album, we created a tea blend that tells the story of where the two artists first met in Turkey. We used a black tea from the Province of Rize, enhanced with slightly acidic fruits found in Norway, and tied together with a beautiful vanilla from the Martinique.

SulaMadiana is a unique blend that invites you into the unique world of Mino and Nils.
