Les agriculteurs locaux ont importé les cultivars de thé Da Bai Hao issus de Fuding, dans le Fujian, ainsi que leurs compétences en matière de production de thé blanc. Depuis, le cultivar Da Bai Hao s’est parfaitement acclimaté à Bose et propose chaque année des bourgeons encore plus grands et plus robustes que ceux de Fuding. Ce thé est la première récolte de l’année.
